Tragedy strikes when you least expect it…
I know it’s been a while since I’ve been able to write anything, but who can blame me… I was milking my Thanksgiving break
So yesterday, I woke up and turned on my trusty laptop just to find out that my favorite player, Sean Taylor, died early that morning from a gunshot wound he received in his leg. I mean, I had been following the news the night before and fell asleep with high hopes Sean would be okay. Doctors said he had squeezed a nurses hand and made facial expressions leading them to believe he was regaining consciousness, but he had already lost to much blood and died around 2am Tuesday morning. The most we can do is pray for Sean Taylor’s family, that God will guide them through this rough time and comfort them as they mourn.
Sean Taylor was the first player I had ever claimed as being my “favorite” Redskin. He had so much intensity and everyone could tell how much he loved the game. I can’t explain how it makes me feel to know he is gone, but I can’t even imagine how his teammates and family feel. I know God has a reason for everything and sometimes it is difficult to understand His perfect will, but I hope his family and friends are able to find peace in the midst of this tragedy.
